Arazlo works by shutting down sebum production and exfoliating and finacea is a great anti inflammatory for redness and making sure that the hyperpigmentation doesn’t stain your skin once the acne fades.

Azelaic acid products that are generally well received are finacea, Paula’s choice and Anua azelaic acid serum.

The bran is called Finacea and aside from that I’ve just been using the basic cerave moisturiser and LRP cicaplast baume. Plus sunscreen in the morning.

Daily, I apply Finacea on cleansed dry skin and then apply moisturizer.

Either generic Taro brand is very good, or the brand name “Finacea”.

I have used finacea since it was invented and Aza 20% (Azelex) for years before that. So that’s over 20 years of using Aza every single day. I never ONCE had any problems with either. But the first time I used the glenmark, it burned my skin. I tried using it in different ways for an entire year: buffered, thin layers, etc. And NOTHING helped. It burned my skin about five times before I finally gave up and ordered finacea. Even when it didn’t cause chemical burns, it was still gritty and unpleasant to use. Since returning to finacea, I have had zero problems with Aza. The difference between the two is night and day.
