Pros

  • I subscribe to Ffern and like them - their instructions are very clear on the fact that once you get “raffled” in, they charge you.

Cons

  • I haven't smelled a Ffern, but I don't want to after seeing how they market. It's doing the opposite of what it's supposed to for me.
  • Ffern has its issues but im convinced people who think it’s a true scam just cannot read fine print. This is all very clearly written out, after I cancelled I sent back the final bottle no problem. I like the two scents I kept and consid...
  • Ffern sells seasonal perfume AND the unboxing experience. It's quite a fun little treat. I will semi-agree with OP that the perfume is pretty niche and can take some getting used to.
  • Ffern is a con, they don't sell fragrances, they sell FFOMO and the thrill of being "added to the ledger." They pretend there is a huge waiting list of people waiting to be invited to buy a bottle of fragrance when in fact everyone who a...
  • They aren’t a scam with what they send. If you didn’t receive a sample, did you ask before opening!?!?? All the terms are there and it took less than 10 minutes for me to cancel after a year. The waiting list is possibly scammy, but oth...

Ffern has its issues but im convinced people who think it’s a true scam just cannot read fine print. This is all very clearly written out, after I cancelled I sent back the final bottle no problem. I like the two scents I kept and consider the marketing to be part of my enjoyment - they make you feel very fancy.

Ffern is a con, they don't sell fragrances, they sell FFOMO and the thrill of being "added to the ledger." They pretend there is a huge waiting list of people waiting to be invited to buy a bottle of fragrance when in fact everyone who asks is "added to the ledger" almost immediately.

They aren’t a scam with what they send. If you didn’t receive a sample, did you ask before opening!?!?? All the terms are there and it took less than 10 minutes for me to cancel after a year. The waiting list is possibly scammy, but otherwise what they send is what they say.

I’m not saying Ffern is worth it, but they’re really clear about their T&Cs. Including having a sample vial to test and to not break the seal of the main bottle unless you’re sure about keeping it, like it’s posted everywhere including in the box they send you.

The perfume smells terrible. It’s absolutely not worth the price tag. I packed it up and shipped it back immediately. They just denied my refund. Their reasoning? I broke the seal on the perfume box.

I need to vent and warn you guys about this brand, Ffern. I feel completely scammed and I don't want anyone else to fall for this. First off, the billing is sketchy. I signed up for what I thought was a "raffle" or a waiting list to see if I could get access to their perfume. Next thing I know, I’m getting hit with a notification that my card was charged $140 without me ever explicitly confirming a purchase or checking out.

I'm not saying they're as bad Ffern, whose whole business model is built on artificial scarcity, but it just rubs me the wrong way.
