- They didn't have the 7 in stock so they just replaced it with a Fenix 8 Pro. Really surprised us.

- If you wont use the pro sat features, it's a lot of thickness, weight, and money for something you wont use. I do like the brighter screen... that's about it.
- If youre not using the features, then its not worth, you get the same watch with a thicker body.
- Battery life on the 8 Pro is just horrible for an outdoor smart watch. I'd always choose the F8 over the F8 Pro.
- Parent context: The Fenix 8 Pro has an AMOLED screen which has much more detail, but worse battery Reply: Yes, I agreed. Also Pro slightly heavier and thicker due to the antennas and hardware.

Whatever the advantages Fenix 8 Pro has over the regular Fenix 8 are offset by it being thicker, heavier and overall more uncomfortable and having worse battery life. I personally wouldn't go for the 51 mm Fenix 8 Pro unless you don't mind having a big chunky piece of metal on your wrist.

I've tested it in the field on many trips already and am currently in the jungles on the border of Mexico and Guatemala. The Garmin 8 Pro supports multiple satellite systems GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS. I'm wearing it now. The … Reply: I am not referring to the fenix 8 pro's navigational capabilities, for that , it is the best there is, just like my instinct 3.

The fenix 8 pro is designed for getting lost in the parking lot at best. The battery life will deplete in 1 day if you start using inreach or lte on it. Overpriced piece of apple watch competing technology
why not go for the fenix 8 pro? can use LTE and similar features with that?
Fenix 8 Pro launch was a bit rough, the Update in 20.19 made it work. ... At first, the integration was kind of hokey - but it works. I have the Fenix 8 pro because I don't run with a phone, but i run upwards of 60 miles a week - I wanted the emergency features as priority #1 and I wanted the chat features as #1.
