Fender Stratocaster

Pros

• Physically, the Strat is lighter and more comfortable.
• BTW, that is a kickass looking strat!
• Get her an electric with a thin neck, like a Tele or a Strat.
• I got a lefty Strat, and my already-high estimation of Jimi Hendrix's talent doubled upon contact !
• A Stratocaster is a great guitar, but it's not the best choice for metal.

Cons

• I tried to play it on my strat and realized it only seems difficult because the tab makes you think OMG 7 frets. It's not even 5 inches
• I’ve tried Strats, Jazzmasters, Les Pauls, SGs; you name it. None has ever felt (to me) the way a Telecaster does
• I struggle on my strat but can do it on my Carvin and Warmoth LP
