Fedora 44

Pros
- I am running a Chinese made no-name i5-11xx notebook. Got it in November 2020, still going strong running Windows 11 and Fedora 44.
- Running Fedora 44 on a 2012 MacBook Air with a bare niri/Wayland setup — no DE.
- Can confirm that updating to 9.2 manually on Fedora 44 has fixed the audio issues. Sounds great now. Did have to compile the kernel and everything which did take a while but now it's all up and running it works great.
- No issue with wifi drivers on Fedora 44. Some minor issues with audio that are resolved in latest 7.2 kernel.
- Fedora 44. Works all out of box include fingerprint sensor.
Cons
- I was also getting rendering artifacts and low graphics performance on Fedora 44 but managed to fix those by installing the beta 7.2 kernel.
- Currently on fedora 44. After resuminging from sleep/ suspend sometimes my ethernet does not come back.
- The issue is present in Windows 11, PopOS 24.04 (Cosmic), and Fedora 44 (Gnome), so I'm thinking firmware issue.
- Fedora 44 is on 7.0.8. I also tried 7.1.0-rc3 from Fedora Rawhide, but the display is the same and wifi seems to be broken there.
