Feather AS-D2

Pros

• Parent context: I've been eyeing it for a while. Can anyone compare to a Feather AS-D2? Reply: I like the AS-D2. It will get the job done and is a fine razor.
• I own one, it's the ideal daily shaver because it's cut is mild. You want to pair it with a very sharp blade, I pair of mine with the feather blade as well. It works, it's like the pair was made for each other.
• It's the best razor if you shave daily and have fine hair. It is very mild and great for beginners.
• It cost me about as much as those 3-4 combined, but it’s all I use now. Well worth the investment.
• Yesterday, for the first time, I pulled out my trusty Feather AS-D2, and removed all of it.

Cons

• It's too soft for my taste. Feather AS-D2 is one of the few razors I couldn't achieve a true BBS with.
• I own an AS-D2 and have done 15-20 shaves with it. As long as you use it with a Feather blade it does great. I wouldn't pay full retail price for it, though. I don't think that would be worth it.
• The Feather AS-D2 (a Gillette Tech knock-off) is known for being a relatively mild razor (one of the mildest actually). Many people who bought it were a bit disappointed by how mild it is, but it seems to work best when paired with a Fea...
