Pros
- as a roguelike fan, the new mode is like digital crack to me
- I enjoyed it, loved the 3DS one and this game was a big improvement over it. I put a good 2 weeks / 40 hours in it, had fun with friends. It's very fun when you accept what it is and turn your brain off a little bit to grind. It gets a l...
- Having a blast playing this now. This is like animal crossing with mmrpg elements.
- I may have to pick the game up again, it's my personal GotY this year
- As someone who hates that sort of handholding, it’s worth pushing through. One of the best games this year
Cons
- Honestly the story is so barebones and kinda trash that if you just wanna grind and craft, skip the cutscenes.
- I’m trying really hard to get into it but feels like one big tutorial so far
- Even as a veteran player, the tutorial felt way too long. I already know what the lives do, I'm very familiar with getting my lives at the guild office and reporting with the master. But why did they make me do it like 7 times before I c...
- Yeah the start is rough but once the training wheels are off its one of the most addicting gameplay loops I've ever experienced
- Been having some fun with game. It’s pretty hand holdy and a lot of walk 10ft, cut scene, walk 100ft, cutscene. I thought i would be left on my own more like Animal Crossng or Stardew

I enjoyed it, loved the 3DS one and this game was a big improvement over it. I put a good 2 weeks / 40 hours in it, had fun with friends. It's very fun when you accept what it is and turn your brain off a little bit to grind. It gets a little tedious towards the end or especially when you're trying to catch-up other job levels and need to constantly craft the same things when you don't really need them. I wish the combat had a little extra layer to it
