Are there *any* good Fairmonts in the US anymore? I feel like they've all gone downhill since covid. SF was the worst!
If budget is a consideration, look into the Fairmont. Newly renovated, I actually liked it more than the RW (beach is much better) and you can dine anywhere in the complex.
As I said, we had gone to the Fairmont the year prior and bought the AI upgrade. I thought the food was significantly better - their steakhouse and Italian restaurant were perfectly fine, if either were in my neighborhood, I would eat at them.
Fairmont is going to be busier and a very different experience than FS.
I really like the Fairmont for their private villas. Also their breakfast is quite expansive. Pools are great with all night access and adult only options.
