Eureka Mignon Silenzio

Pros

• The grinder is super.
• I saw this used Gaggia Classic pro with a PID and a Eureka Mignon Silenzio for $650 and seems like a pretty good deal.
• It's a solid workhorse and I put a Single Dosing kit on it. However, I wanted to jump over 64mm to go to 83mm for fear that the 64mm might not be enough of an improvement
• I just came off 10 years with a BBE as well. I decided to get a Eureka Costanza R and Eureka Mignon Silenzio grinder.
• I currently have a Rancilio Silvia V5 and an Eureka Mignon Silenzio. Super happy with the reliability of both

Cons

• My silenzo was 2 grams and not very fast to clean. So It think I need to search for another brand than Eureka.
• Other options I am considering are Eureka Mignon Silenzio or Eureka Mignon Specialita.
• Eureka Mignon specialita or silenzio
• Also, even though Silenzio is a bit finicky, i absolutely love mine that I bought used. Close to 0 retention once all the holes are filled and with some aftermarket parts (single dose hopper/bellows, ARO espresso dial) it just works.
• I would stay well away from the silenzio unless you want to single dose (and it won’t be great at that) as it doesn’t have a timer display and I think that would be an issue.
