Pros
- For urban exploration and camping I would recommend the D4SV2 519a 3500k. It's nice at night but bright enough to light up a giant room or be used outdoors.
- Parent context: That’s surprising to hear. I’m almost tempted to grab one myself! If the 26800 isn’t total trash, it would be nice to have another for my EDC D4Sv2. Are you gonna modify it? Reply: It's funny you should ask. I was actuall...
- Adding one SFT25r gives the ‘floody’ high cri D4SV2 beam an extra punch
- No it was an experiment at first and had become my favourite light instantly. The combination of the boost driver witje the beam this combo gives is amazing. The SFT25r 7000 (Kaidomian) is the throwy part of the beam and carries a couple...
- When I ran into an off-leash dog running at me and my dog on a walk, the strobe on my D4SV2 convinced him to stop and go another way.
Cons
- The Seeker Pro is a single-cell flooder. That's comparable to the D4K, D4S, and perhaps the D1K with XHP70.
- I don't have a D3AA, but I have a D4Sv2. Here are some comparison photos

No it was an experiment at first and had become my favourite light instantly. The combination of the boost driver witje the beam this combo gives is amazing. The SFT25r 7000 (Kaidomian) is the throwy part of the beam and carries a couple of hundred meters. The warmer parts (the FFL’s) are the floody part of the beam and light up your immediate surroundings in warmish high cri. In total it’s about 4000K but you’ve got this long distance cool part and this warm at your feet high cri part. It’s great.

I rather take the d4sv2 for walking around. During camping this thing will be amazingly versatile. Low moonlights and high cri for inside the tent. Good distance and spill for walking outside.
I agree that the D4SV2 is a great jacket pocket light. The difference in optics really gives it some punch vs the D4V2 and D4K optics.
The D4SV2 is actually quite comfortable, it doesn't feel too big. Easily a jacket pocket or sling bag light.
