Pros

• If it is, I assume he's a fan of double oaked... I'd look for: * Makers Mark No 46 French Oaked Cask Strength * Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel
• I found this one opened up considerably over a month or two. At first, it was just a sweet bourbon. After awhile, I found it so creamy and delicious.
• Parent context: 7 for sure! Reply: I agree don't care for the small batch or ecbp but this is good to me
• 7 for sure!
• Everyone has different palettes, that is for sure but this deserves better than a 5.1.

Cons

• EG is one of my favorite brown waters but the Toasted Barrel is not a fav.
• You really can’t go wrong with any of those picks except for the EC Toasted. People seem to be really hit or miss on toasted barrel bourbons/ryes (I happen to really enjoy them).
• Elijah Craig toasted barrel is a 5.1 but woodford batch proof is a 9.4 sure 🙄
• It is still in the "good" category. I think the big thing for me is it just didn't have anything that made it memorable for me necessarily. It was missing something to make it standout from the crowd in this ~$50 bottle realm.
