EF-S 55-250

Pros

• The EF-S 55-250 would be in your range and a reasonable choice.
• EF-S 55-250 : A very solid all-rounder and it's always has been praised for its price
• The EF-S 55-250 is a great lens for car photography.
• Some of my all time best shots were taken with it and an adapted EF-S 55-250.
• It's a good lens just wish I could get some more reach

Cons

• The ef-s 55-250 is for crop sensors and will force the RP in cropmode, meaning they'll lose a lot of MP.
• The EF-S 55-250 is not a wildlife lens. Its more like a general purpose telephoto.
• All versions of the 75-300 are a must avoid unless you are desperate and can't afford the ef-s 55-250.
• Well, I’ve got an EF-S 55-250 that I’ve inherited, but I can’t seem to shoot clear thru the wires, given the smaller aperture values of the more affordable lens.
