Dermaplaning

Pros

• For hair removal, personally, the method that breaks me out the least is dermaplaning, as pulling out the hair (waxing, threading, plucking) irritated the follicles too much.
• Best option out there for me personally is to NOT tweeze or wax (because it encourages the irritation you’re talking about) and switching to dermaplaning plus laser hair removal.

Cons

• I definitely would avoid dermaplaning in the future or If you chose to do it again follow it up with high frequency or blue light. There are a lot of people whose skin doesn’t tolerate dermaplaning and you may be one of them.
• she said it’s a reaction to the dermaplaning due to the friction of the blade and that my skin might just not tolerate it well.
• I got a facial with dermaplaning for the first time on Thursday March 12... by Monday 3/16 I had a bunch of breakouts on my cheeks and some small bumps on my forehead.
