I have a 3.0 setup in my living room. I have Elac Unifi speakers for my LCR, amd a refurbished Denon receiver.
I would probably just look for a used Denon receiver and stick with room correction better bang for buck .

I have been wondering why this is; is there anything different I need to do? Reply: I personally have a Marantz and like it more than the Denon I replaced but it shouldn't be that much different. In stereo mode it should play your sub with it. On my Marantz though if I play Direct mode my subs still play with it but I think on the Denon I had they didnt for some reason.
