Use evo 1 express for calibration (it's free). It did wonders on my 2800h.
So I bought a 2800h earlier this year. I was debating the 3800h and the RZ50. However, I evaluated my current needs and that was a solid 5.1 system. I could at best do a 5.1.2 which the 2800 supported. Further it was important to have strong video capabilities which again 2800 was good enough for.
If listening at reasonable volumes the consensus seems to be the X2800H would be fine.

Also the Denon X2800H doesn't really offer much over the X1800H so if you don't need that little bit of extra power or 2nd HDMI out stick with the less expensive unit.
