Pros
- D’annam have 3 but I’d start with Vietnam.
Cons
- D’Annam is TikTok famous but I wasn’t impressed with anything except for the cool bottles and Monsoon Tea.
- A while ago there was a post about d’Annam and its name (French colonial era name for Vietnam)/entire branding being wildly orientalist.
- d'Annam likes to make it seem like they're more of an indie house, which they're not. ... There have also been misgivings raised about Nick Hoang's companies
- D'Annam - overpriced TikTok nonsense
- D'annam has been found to use AI images for their promo as well as using artisits works without crediting them. They has always been sending PR packages in exchanges for glowing reviews while jacking up the price more than 2x. Avoid this...

D’Annam, in general, to me smells like Y2K mall store perfumes, like AE and Hollister
d’Annam struck me as unsavory. If you want a tea fragrance that smells like tea, get something from One Day.
I have tried several D’annam scents and they are no thing to write home about. I certainly will not be sampling any others from them with this information.
Zen91 is the parent company that owns Mischief Academy & D'annam that I believe are run by the same owner, Nick Hoang. ... Here are some problematic things I've found about both perfume companies: 1. AI art ... 2. Trademark/Copyright ... 3. Exploiting artists ... 4. False Reviews
