Pros

  • Highlights of games my group and I personally enjoyed most: ... Coup
  • If you play coup right, you can usually math out the correct answer, and then you're stuck trying to convince the group that someone else's math is wrong.
  • I've had a great time with Coup, Veiled Fate, Werewords, Two Rooms and a Boom and Let's Call the Exorcist, to name a few.
  • Coup: light and easy social deduction/bluffing game
  • It's a fantastic design.

Cons

  • Standard version is very simple which makes it a great entry game but does not leave that much room for interesting strategies. You might have to metagame a bit to make it fun.
  • Coup, Avalon/The Resistance, and Werewolf as well, something just never clicks with me.
  • My friends love coup so we play fairly often but I don’t enjoy it at all compared to other social deduction/party games. Am I missing something or is there a different way of playing or expansion that fixes my issues with it?
  • Sorry, I played other boardgames/ccg and such, like coup and mtg but my collection here didn’t start until Scythe.

You seem to like a lot of social deduction and bluffing kind of games, Coup is also among my favorites
