Pros
- I'm pretty sure I'm going with an S8 with sft25r and 8amp buck driver. I won't be running it at 100% constantly, so the heat (shouldn't?) be an issue.
- S6 or S8 (my preference, I have to admit) are great, sft25r is excellent
- Which makes me think that a Convoy s6/S8 is a better buy than a T6, unless you want to use Eneloop and Ladda rechargeable AAs.
- OP should get a cheap convoy with a forward clicky (S8 with SFT40 perhaps?) and save the rest of their money for training lol.
- If you feel you might want to run 50% or 100% more often, you can opt for the slightly better thermal/heat dissipating S8.

The S8 is great too. Just depends which body style you prefer. I like the S8 over the S6, but you might not.
