Pros

  • If the FC11C worked, I suggest the Convoy s21e with b35am 4500k. It’s 21700 USBC charging, and it has an efficient boost driver and the b35am is basically slightly better than the 519a in every way.
  • Convoy does have some USB-C models. S21E / M21H are 2 examples I believe.
  • My Convoy S21E does so at a rate of 39 microamps, which would take about 17 years to fully drain the battery.
  • If it is required, I’d say S21E with SFT40 3000K would be a decent candidate
  • If you doesnt mind the 21700 form factor, I really recommend the Convoy S21E with the B35AM.

Cons

  • Both run at 6v, and while don’t personally know the current limits of the xhp50.3, I do know that both of my sft70 lights put more current into an sft70 than my Convoy S21e is willing to put into an xhp50.3.
  • As I took a look into those models (S21E, M21H) I was surprised to see that they are in fact to super expensive (as I thought before while scrolling the sub), but that you have so many options to choose from for your build.

If you need it as pocketable as possible, then the S21E with a 60-degree TIR and LED emitter of your choice will also work.

Convoy S21E with SFT40 5000K + Vapcell F63 should do the trick. Compact, throwy emitter, 5000K, Side switch+USB charging, high capacity 21700 call.

I chose the S21E host over the commonly used S2+ because I wanted a side switch triple light. Additional, the S21E with an XHP50.3 already comes assemble with the 6V 3A driver so there all I had to do was to removed the XHP50.3.

I posted a new light day post a few hours ago for the Convoy S21E, that has a lot of throw, more than I expected anyway, but with good spill.
