First game I saw was Concordia. That's all I need to see. 10/10 collection.
Troyes, Hansa T, Agricola, Concordia, Scout, The Crew, El Grande...you have excellent taste in board games.
First encountered this in Catan. But also Seasons. And even Concordia. And Lords of Waterdeep if I recall correctly. For the most part base game resource balance is built around a certain economic scarcity, and the gimmick of a wild resource type even when added with bells and whistles almost always makes the game watered down and messes up previous elegent design and balance.

But I'd guess that among all of them my top five are (in no particular order): \-Concordia / Hansa / Brass (euros)
