Pros

  • Just got my Comptia A+ and Network+, almost have Sec+
  • Im an IT support with 5 years now with comptia Network+ Security + and recently passed az104.
  • I passed my Network+ and Security+ with esase, damn near perfect scores on them with minimal studying besides a few practice exams
  • Get net+ or better yet ccna, build labs, do sec plus after, then do azure is the path I would do
  • I just passed both my CompTIA A+ and Network+ for both of those I studied about 1-2 Months. Passed all in my first try!

Cons

  • I have a Network+ and from my understanding it’s child’s play compared to CCNA.

If you're trying to move into tech as a whole, it might not hurt to get a tech cert like Network+ or even A+

Make sure you have all the beginners certs to pass HR. This means Comptia A+, Network+, Security+ ITIL 4/5.

Beginners not working with Azure or not working in IT yet should avoid AZ-104 and do AZ-900, SC-900, Comptia A+, Network+, Security+ , ITIL 4 instead if they want a set of beginner friendly certs.

Obtain any beginner certs you don't have Network+, Security+, ITIL4.
