Hey, my week trial this will be ending tomorrow. I’m gonna see how I feel about the face wash. I still have some bumps coming up on my skin does look the best it’s ever been like moisturize but I might just have to go to my old moisturizer after two weeks if the bumps or the texture doesn’t go away, but I also do take a retinoid and also benzyl peroxide. I also do you have a prescription for clindamycin if I do need to go back to it. It sucks because I really do like the formulation. I’ve never felt a face wash like this before I do think it’s probably the rosemary or the oils that are in it, but I’ll let you know I’ll give you an update.

I just received this face wash two days ago and tried the first day I go it. My face doesn't feel as stripped (I have extremely dry, dehydrated and sensitive skin) and I didn't know if I was loving it or not. Today I woke up with a small pimple on my forehead that grew a little.

But unfortunately, this new cleanser did not work for me at all. I found it stripping and drying. I have mature, oily yet sometimes dehydrated, skin. My skin barrier is in excellent condition. I use tretinoin nightly. My normal cleanser that I’ve been using and loving ever since it came out is The Inkey List cream to milk cleanser. Thought I’d give this new one from Cocokind of try since I had a coupon for it on TikTok shop. It is marketed as being non-stripping, but it made my face feel tight every single time I used it, and I only used it once a day. After several days, I got dry patches around my nose and mouth, which I NEVER get (I didn’t even get this when I first started tret). I thought it might be a fluke, so after about five days, I stopped using it and went back to my normal routine for about a week. Skin felt more moisturized and the dryness went away. Then I picked it up and tried it again and sure thing, I got tightness again after each use, and after about three days, the dry patches came back.

I'm fairly confident this caused the same on me. I stopped using it after a week since I kept getting small, unusual pimples. Went back to my torriden dive-in cleansing foam and my skin calmed back down to normal. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I am trying the cocokind milky face and body wash so that could be the reason for the breakout.
