Clinique Black Honey

Pros

• Its not ment to have more pigment. Its not a lipstick, its a almost lipstick. It has a clear base and therefore fits many skintones really well.i love the subtle redish brown. Gives me the my lips but better color.
• Fenty lipliner in Riri, Clinique Black Honey, and I top it off with the Raspberry Jamz lipoil from Fenty:) Without the gloss it's a nice cherry cola lip, and with it it's like a berry look!
• Other lipsticks I reach for regularly are Clinique Black Honey, Essential Jennifer, MAC Love Child and Makeup by Mario Rosewood Glow.
• Clinique black honey might be a good way to start wearing lipstick
• I like that it has a similar amount of pigment to a tinted lip balm but feels more like a lipstick - a GOOD lipstick. It’s very smooth.

Cons

• I do own this product and it dries out my lips. It was great for its time but today there are better options.
• I noticed in the Clinique Black Honey, the grade is A+, but it has just as many neutral as positives. Having used this myself, it's incredibly meh and had I read more neutral sentiments, my expectations would have been way different.
• I don't know what the black honey hype is about. Probably for people with a slightly different skin tone than me.
• I want to love it, and I do *like* it, but what can it do that the Burts and CoverGirl can’t? A few swipes of the Burts is kinda the same as 1 swipe of Black Honey, and if I want way more pigment, I can get that with far less swipes of t...
• It is matte, so I sometimes toss a gloss over it (either the red Trixie Cosmetics gloss or Clinique Black Honey).
