Chinatown

Pros
- An example for me was Chinatown. It’s a very good game I always enjoy but it competes in the same space of weight/length/social interaction as Cosmic Encounter and Lords of Vegas, which are 2 of my favourite games
- Have you played Chinatown or Zoo Vadis. I’ve been trying to find replacements myself. I like both of these games more than Catan.
- My current favorites are Root, Agricola, Troyes, Parks, Startups, Pokémon Splendor, Chinatown, Dune Imperium: Uprising, and Western Legends.
- Chinatown was again a brilliant experience and we had the famous Soup Dumplings, Apple Pie and had a mouth watering duck course for Dinner before heading back to Shinjuku.
- Negotiation games can be a little bit overwhelming for those who don’t quite have the math-brain to quickly quantify the value of things, but this game is so silly that it has been a hit every time.
Cons
- Chinatown’s food was a bit underwhelming for me – but that might be because I’d visited China just a few months earlier, so my expectations were fresh and high.
- Not a 2nd edition, but Chinatown was "reskinned" as a more PC and less tense Waterfall Park. Not as good IMO.

Honourable 4th: Chinatown: I just feel this game is a great bridge between the board games I played at Christmas with my family as a kid and to what I i know now.
