I’ve always used the cerave blemish control cleanser, as my skin gets congested without it, but twice a day was too much so now I use it in the evening & use the Simple face wash in the morning.
I started using these products when I developed acne on my cheeks and blackheads. Over time, these issues have gradually improved.

I've added a list at the bottom of the post of the products that gave me these bumps all over my face (even though I only applied it to a specific spot, to see if I would have a bad reaction).
It's a very nice face wash :) but not an oil cleanser :/ I do resent them for marketing it this way.
