Pros

  • I was prescribed Winlevi 1% in the AM by my dermatologist, and I follow with Cerave AM moisturizer. (I am faithful with using the cerave everyday, sometimes I forget the winlevi but I try to keep it consistent.)
  • I would suggest CeraVe AM moisturizer. It has SPF 30. To me this is inadequate SPF protection but if he’s refusing to do more than one step at least he’d get that.
  • Sunscreen! (Cerave AM moisturizer) is a good starting place. UV rays are the #1 cause of aging and if you don’t wear sunscreen you are essentially negating the benefits from your retinol.
  • You may get the am version as well if it’s still within budget.
