For the shoaling fish, I'd avoid tetras and danios, as they need a lot of swimming space, with the exception of ember tetras, and celestial pearl danios.

Rummy nose tetras or celestial Pearl danios

A group of 5-6 Celestial Pearl Danios could work since it's a wider tank, they like having the space to swim horizontally back and forth. They generally won't bother full grown shrimp

CPDs are cool and very hardy in my experience, but they shoal and spend a lot of time chasing each other around. While they have really beautiful individual colors, they don’t pop like neons and I sort of regret not going with a more colorful nano fish that would provide more contrast to the plants.
