Castles of Burgundy

Pros

• Definitely one of those “I know it seems like a lot, but I promise it runs smoothly once you get started” kind of games.
• For me it is Castles of Burgundy. It is my favorite game and when I start explaining the game to people it never sounds interesting. But once they start playing people just get it.
• Ginkgopolis Castles of Burgundy Orleans Isranbul Memoir 44 Obsession Honey Buzz That’s to name a few that I personally enjoy.
• I was first in line for bit of these after getting the Castles of Burgundy release, which is one of my top 5 games. It’s a beautiful release worth every penny to me.
• but have been turned on to some amazing games like Ark Nova, Shallow Sea, and Castles of Burgundy, which I plan to pick up soon.

Cons

• Kemet, Castles of Burgundy, Food Chain Magnate, Viticulture, Brass, Eclipse off the top of my head.
• Parent context: Still the new editions are expensive and full of expansions that are not needed for beginners. I bought new Castles of Burgundy and after some time I honestly think I get more fun from the old ugly one.. Reply: I bought...
• If you ever wanted minis in Castles of Burgundy, Puerto Rico, or Agricola, they exist now.
• I don’t have castles of burgundy yet but wonder how you would rank that?
• I bought Castles of Burgundy about 8 years ago with high hopes of it being a marquee game with my group. We pulled it out and set it up a few times, but for some reason I could never finish walking them through all the instructions.
