Canon RF 50mm f/1.2L USM

I own and love my RF 50/1.2 and it definitely has a little bit of Canon's secret sauce in it.

It would be ridiculous to compare it with say the RF 50 1.2, but that lens is five times the price (and nearly three times the weight). I've been pleasantly surprised by mine so far.

For the price, this is so great! I've used the RF 50/1.2, just based on the weight alone, I am not entirely sure I'd want to step up for it as a main piece of kit of mine!

I love my RF 50 1.2. Sharp and lovely out of focus backgrounds. A tiny bit slow to focus, but it's not been a problem.

Otherwise, RF 50 1.2 is a good choice. They are fairly affordable compared to other 1.2 options on the secondhand market.

Curious of this stacks up to the RF 50 1.2 which i love the rendering of.

I have the RF 50 1.2 and 135 1.8 and am looking at the 24mm VCM to round out my 3 prime lens kit.

The RF 50 1.2 is tack sharp wide open. I genuinely believe it’s one of the best lenses ever made.

R6 Mark I and EF 50mm 1.2 was my creative portrait setup for the longest time before I upgraded to the R5 and RF 50 1.2 because I needed more cropping power.
