Bond Bridge

Pros

• I have a few 6 speed DC fans all controlled from a Bond Bridge. The key to truly automating them is whether they have a discreet way to to turn them on and off rather than a toggled power switch.
• Look into a Bond Bridge, it's dupes RF from motorized blinds, ceiling fans and fireplaces. It's not cheap, but very reliable.
• I’m using a Bond Bridge for mine as well. Not using the temperature control features (iirc the remote monitors the temp and turns the fireplace on and off with the standard on/off signal), just having it send the power command. I gave up...
• Parent context: And you have that working for a device like mine? Reply: Nope. But it’s working with my generic fireplace. Most operate in the same frequency. Buy it off Amazon if you want to try and return.
• Then get a Bond Bridge that will control the fan directly from Alexa voice commands or routines.

Cons

• My bond bridge doesn’t support my fireplace. It turns on the fireplace just fine but after ~5min the fireplace shuts off. It’s a known issue according to bond and there’s no ETA on any support (I’ve waited 2 years now). So, Bond may work...
• I just cant afford bond bridge, maybe if I get an AC or motorized curtains idk
• bond bridge if it already has a rf remote
• Is Bond bridge the only option?
• I was cursing my bond controller, but I think the issue is buying the cheapest fan speed controller and remote on Amazon. I had to troubleshoot for about 45 minutes because I couldn't get the remote to pair with my Bond bridge.
