Bloodborne: The Board Game

I went all in on this game. I really enjoyed it. It is hard -- you can lose to bad luck even if you play combat perfectly... However, every time I have lost to this game, I can see where I screwed up or what I could have done better.

Fantastic game. Plays very quick. Excellent puzzle. Though it functions on a timer which some people don’t like, but is necessary to create tension. Because it’s very low luck.

Overall I still really like it. Deckbuilding is suprisingly deep, though the character you choose nudges you in a certain direction. ... Campaign are good. Each campaign consists of 3 missions. ... This make this game really strategic. You cannot just wander around the map aimlessly killing every monster that moves.

It's my "Dark Souls" style of game in board game form. It's a fun game. Sort roguelike a bit. Better than any alternatives I've seen so far.

Other than that, love this game. The nostalgia is a big reason I enjoy the game, but honestly I don't have an issue with the difficulty, enemy variety, or bosses. Not saying there aren't potential improvements, I'm just satisfied with the difficulty.

In my opinion, the board game damn near perfectly captures the experience of playing the video game in many aspects. ... The game gives you many ways to deal with predicting enemy attacks, and the fact that the monsters are pretty similar is to your advantage: you don't need to memorize the attack pattern variety of 50 different enemies.
