Pros

  • Benq W2720i and 119” Cinema Choice screen provide the visuals.
  • I’ve installed a few w2720i’s and I think they are the best bang for the buck, benq has been at it a long time.
  • Projector 1700 Euro: https://geizhals.eu/benq-w2720i-a3344499.html
  • BenQ w2720i 117" fixed frame screen from Kingpin (I recommend getting some higher quality brand, but it's nice if you're on a budget)
  • Best Bang for the Buck with (obviously) zero Laser Speckle and the least amount of visible RBE - if any at all!

Cons

  • I just noticed I can still return my w2720i and upgrade to the w4100i for 540€. Would this be a solid upgrade? I would only do it if it would gave me something truely noticeable
  • Consider the Benq W2720i also but I wouldn't go with it
  • I usually recommend the Benq W2720i, but it does a 135 inch image at 9' 8'', and the projector will make it outside of your 10 feet.
  • I have a BenQ W2720i. ... I'm wanting a 120" AT screen: Elite Screens AcousticPro UHD. ... The nits I get using that calculator is 99 nits when accounting for projector to lens with 1.23 zoom ... Will this be enough for a good HDR experi...
  • Also seems like BenQ is pushing their new model, the W2720i?

I’ve been liking it a lot. Love the modern hdmi 2.1 features and that the colors are spot on out of the box. Nice to not have to worry about laser speckle.

I bought the benq because I specifically thought the rainbow effect might get me. I usually see imperfections in TVs. I haven't seen anything other like in the benq.

After a lot more research narrowing it down between the BenQ W2720i, BenQ X3100i, BenQ TK710, and XGIMI HORIZON 20, I have to agree with you. I’m getting the W2720i, thank you!
