Pros

  • I have the TK705STi, and it's been great for movie nights.
  • The TK705STi would be my pick. I've been using one myself, and it's been great for movies.
  • get the TK705STi and spend the difference on a decent screen
  • Honestly? I'd go BenQ and not think twice. Look, the XGIMI gets a lot of love because it's got a nice interface and it auto-adjusts everything, which is cool. But for PS5 gaming and some daytime watching? The BenQ just makes more sense....
  • I prefer both options, but for simplicity, the BenQ TK705STi would provide you with more flexibility, especially if you desire a larger image size.

Cons

  • All else being equal, I liked the TK705STI better, but I couldn’t get past the smaller chip even if the x500i has less colour volume.
  • There is a short throw variant (TK705STi) which uses a fixed .8:1 throw ratio lens. ... No zoom. I'd skip it if you can use the longer throw model

But for PS5 gaming and some daytime watching? The BenQ just makes more sense. Brighter, lower input lag, short throw (no shadows when you're gaming), and it's 500€ cheaper.

Then get the TK705! Laser has more RBE and Laser Speckle!

TK705 - less RBE (if any!) and no Laser Speckle!

Based on specifications, the BenQ appears to be superior, offering better brightness, short-throw capability, and a price point that is 500€ less.
