Benchmark Full Proof

Pros

• For high proof, I’d recommend Benchmark Full Proof.
• most are not going to be as good as the New Riff single barrels. OGD 114, Benchmark full proof come to mind.
• Benchmark full proof is a great option at a great price.
• I’m a big fan of benchmark full proof myself ... Benchmark feels like an absolute treat at its price point, so I don’t feel too pressured to spend much more than msrp for Stagg jr.
• Value: $20 barrel proof Buffalo Trace; what more can I say? | 1.5x ... Citrus and spice going down, very prominent hug but not as rough around the edges as you’d expect for a $23 bourbon.

Cons

• Green River full proof, benchmark full proof or SiB
• I do have the Full Proof. It’s not bad for a bottom shelfer, but I still prefer OGD.
• So far I've tried Benchmark Full Proof - did NOT like that nasty moldy taste on the back-end, even drowned in ice it was still omnipresent. I now think I know what folks mean when they refer to a "wet cardboard note" in their tasting rev...
• I’ve had the full proof but wasn’t a fan.
• Benchmark Full Proof (BT) is ok.
