We ended up with the Bear Elite Hybrid and it’s been the one that works for both of us. It’s supportive enough that my lower back isn’t cranky in the morning, but my shoulders still get a bit of give. Motion transfer is low, which I notice when the dog decides 3 am is a good time to rearrange himself. It doesn’t trap heat much, and the build feels solid, no sagging so far.
