• If you just bought some stuff from Banana Republic Factory which can be super cheap, you'll be far and away the nicest dressed person in most circumstances.
• Personally have always enjoyed and never had an issue with their factory clothes. Same with JCrew. Sure it’s not AMAZING quality, but for the price, the pieces work for me.
• I've found Banana Republic/Factory and White House Black Market to work well.

• factory has items that are lower quality and/or poor fit for cheaper.

• the answer is both. I have no problem with BR or JCrew factory stuff. But the fits/quality/fabrics are not the same quality. Still good stuff for a quick buy on the cheap
