Bambu Lab AMS

Pros

• the rack covers are printed on my x1c with a ams I did a filament swap to add in the company logo turned out pretty nice at the end
• This is the only reason I got the AMS to begin with. Plus, using filament rollover, it's supper nice.
• I have 2 ams units but literally for the convenience of not having to swap filament for different prints. It's just an easy storage option
• Yap, just got my AMS during Christmas, im in the same room as the printer, every time i hear the filament swap i check the camera.
• I just plug the filament I want to use in the AMS and select the profiles I want to print with before slicing the model.

Cons

• MMU has about half the waste of the AMS. That doesn't make it economical either, though.
• Ams is slow.
• They are bambu labs a1's with the ams
• it partially defeats the purpose of an AMS.
• AMS generates so much waste, I think it's insane how many people are fine with wasting that much material.
