• Well i have the bags not for long, around a month. So far Blast is good but of course too early to tell.
• Hands down, the Blast wins here. Got it in minty green, and it looks slick—minimalist design with well-placed compression straps and smart pocket layout.
• This is where Blast really shines. Tons of pockets, including two secret ones near your back—perfect for passport, phone, or cash.

Cons

• The Bagsmart Blast and Faro bags have shoe compartments.
• Bagsmart Blast, REI Commuter.
• I got the non-expandable version of the Blast, and it’s definitely smaller than the listed specs suggest. Fitting the same load into it was more challenging than into the Osprey, which felt more spacious.
• Bagsmart looks good but feels less premium. Zippers feel plasticky, warranty is only 1 year, and the material seems softer—less confidence long-term.
• Bagsmart back panel is soft and cushiony. Shoulder straps feel great. BUT, there’s zero ventilation, so my back was still soaked after long walks.
