Reddit take

Not enough linked mention summaries yet; the source excerpts below are the evidence.

Pros

  • They make very good, cost effective parts in the TUF and Prime lines however.
  • My second, now primary, is an ASUS TUF. I forget the model # but its 2K resolution, and either 180Hz or 244Hz. I recall it being around 300-350$ CAD on sale.

Cons

  • ASUS TUF would be among the best but is also very expensive. All models basically perform the same, apart from fan noise.
  • I turned on my PC just to use it and I noticed that it went to the motherboard splash screen (ASUS TUF) and it wouldn’t go to the windows screen after some time.
  • Other than the support, most complaints I've seen about Asus is that it is overpriced for what it is.
  • I have heard Asus has shit support, from sellers in my country too, and they even suggested going with MSI for that reason.
  • I’ve seen a lot about LG ultra gears, Acer nitros, Asus TUF, and so on. I’m just not knowledgeable enough and I don’t know what’s best.
