My machine's full of 140mm Arctic fans. They have advice on their website how to set fan curves, and I went with their recommendation for a silent curve. I can barely hear if my machine is on, if I stick my head next to the box. The Arctic fans were 1/3 the cost of the Noctuas.
I usually buy Arctic fans for my computers. They are cheap and on par with the Noctua case fans.
Yeah a 5 pack of Arctic isn't very expensive. Can Daisy-Chain them.
If you're on a budget, other manufacturers produce excellent performing fans with aRGB for a much lower price. They include Thermalright, Arctic, Cooler Master.
Arctic's paste has been my go-to in recent years but pretty much anything will do for the average user.
Do some cool fans - want RGB? Do that. Want a sleek all black build? Look at Arctic fans or maybe go the route of Nocuta or BeQuiet!.
But they are sending the mounting bracket for free so that's nice.
That being said, Arctic, Noctua and Be Quiet are completely off the table. I need brands that prioritize cooling ability, not overpriced slop
