At some unfortunate point in the last year, I followed a New York Times podcast on my Apple app, then unfollowed it. And yet, because I logged in to the “subscriber edition” of the NYT podcast stream, the first thing I see every time I open the app is “TOP SHOWS FROM THE NEW YORK TIMES” — and, more annoyingly, Ezra Klein’s stupid face.
