The Anthem still has HDMI out problems, that is solved with HDMI splitter.
When just listen to casual Music or electronic stuff i'll take the Apple-TV and Surround mode on my Anthem.
I primarily sell Marantz and Anthem. Marantz's least expensive receiver is a 5.2 slim line which costs $600; their least expensive 7.2 is $1300. You can't even pick up an Anthem for less than $1300.
Otherwise I’d say Anthem is the best of the high end for consumer use.
In my experience, avoid the boutique brands like Nad and anthem, they're riddled with bugs.
