Pros
- The AMC near me, and maybe 2-3 others I've been to in the past five years, have always quietly allowed you to sneak stuff in.
- AMC just added a board certified veterinary behaviorist and behavior department
- Most chain theaters (amc, regal ect) have $5 Tuesday night movies.
Cons
- But to uber across the city to the AMC and back doubles the cost and time commitment.
- I live in a suburb of LA and we have a regal in an open air mall nearly directly across the street from an AMC in a regular mall.
- My AMCs look disgusting and have been ran down for years, meanwhile EVERY single other theater I know has modernized and look great, that's why I rarely go to AMC.
- But I don’t want 10-15 of the 30 minutes to be stupid AMC ads
- They'll be back to back, with the ads about the type of projection, the concessions, the AMC loyalty programs, the Nicole Kidman...it feels like your intelligence is being insulted and you're being punished for already buying the thing t...

Trailers are one thing. The three or four AMC ads are the dirt worst. I’m already in the theatre. I’ve already given them my money, they DONT NEED TO ADVERTISE TO ME ANYMORE.
Cool. Now my local AMC will show 25 minutes of shit instead of 30? Still insane.
How many times do you have to tell me what theater I’m at? I know I’m at AMC!
