- I love my altar lone peaks, but I do hear complaints about durability. Mine are zero drop with no additional insole, and even after 3 day 35 mile with lots of climbing, no leg ankle knee or back issues.

Altra Lone Peaks used to be one of the most popular zero drop trail runners. They drained and dried quickly up through about the series 7. I cannot speak to the 9s. Very good traction. IMO, only the Lone Peaks have the truly forgiving toe box.
I’m no pro, but Altra Lone Peaks are fantastic. I wear them in the trail and end up wearing them to work too because they are so comfortable.

They didn't hold up for as long as the Lone Peaks.
