Reply: Yes, bring those waterproof socks. Trailrunners are fine but depending on the weather there is a good chance that they will stay wet most of your trip.
Out of these three for zero drop travel shoes, I would absolutely pick the altras as I can't imagine wearing heavier boots for general travel use.

Reply: I think that if you are in persistent rain for more than 30 minutes with that kit, your feet will get wet. If so, then I hope you have dry socks to switch to – at least when you reach camp. But even so, your shoes will stay wet, and could have a hard time drying

I hike with altra for the toe box either lone peak or olympus and add superfeet.
