Pros
- given that you rank Aeterna Noctis so highly
- on Noctis it's even more incredible than I thought it would be. It has everything I need and want from an MV game. I liked it a lot back then to put in #2, but now I'm having a real blast.
- Yes! Some Aeterna Noctis love. Cannot wait for the sequel.
- I’m back I to Aeterna Noctis after an almost 1 year break, haha! ... I think I’m over the hump and zooming around like mad, it’s pretty great!
- Played Eden Genesis for about 30 min (I have Aeterna Noctis as S+)
Cons

If a game needs so many caveats just to not suck, you can't possibly call it "one of the best metroidvanias you've ever played in your life" with a straight face.
This is another gargantuan and highly ambitious metroidvania that came out in a rather poor state. ... There were also issues involving very poor breadcrumbing in one lategame biome (cosmos), the worst ever world design ever in a metroidvania in another lategame biome (Dream kingdom), and an ill-conceived decision to introduce a corpse run and cornifer into the game even though this is a precision platforming metroidvania.
This is another gargantuan and highly ambitious metroidvania that came out in a rather poor state. Similarly to Souldiers, the developers began patching the game but they did so in an ill-advised way, creating the so-called aeterna mode. A kiddy like easy mode that makes the game incredibly bland and easy, removing the elements that made this such a unique experience.
