Acebeam UC3A

Pros

• The SFT36F in the Acebeam UC3A in cool white is much cleaner.

• This flashlight seems pretty interesting. AAA is a weird choice, I usually prefer AA, but this one seems nice.
• Regulated driver in such small host is outstanding feature
• until now, the UC3A is my favourite EDC if I don't really need more than half an hour of light - my typical "take the dog out for 10-15 minutes before we go to bed" light.

Cons

• It seems like a pretty neat product, but the 10440 battery choice seems odd. There's just such a massive jump down from 14500 to 10440, it rarely seems worth it, especially on this light which isn't exactly super tiny.
• I have mixed thoughts on the pocket clip, I like the look of it and I'm glad they went for a black color on it as I love black accents on orange lights, but the screws that attach the clip to the light really interfere with pocket fabric

• Mine could be faulty, although my contact said the replacement now has an updated UI. Sometimes it would start on medium and then smoothly ramp down to low, they reckoned it was a bug with the thermal regulation.
