- Two points regarding L16 2.0: - it’s a dedicated thrower = very narrow beam, ~useless at short distances - it apparently not only charges slowly/strangely but it overcharges the battery
- The Acebeam L16 2.0 is much bigger but with longer battery life. It's too large for me to EDC, personally.
- Acebeam L16 2.0 has amazing performance but keep in mind that the e-lockout function is a simple long hold of the side button. That can easily happen by accident and result in no-light when you try to click it on. E-lockout has no place...

Put the same SFT-40 into an TD30D Max sized reflector (Acebeam L16 2.0 or Weltool T12/T12 Plus) and you get around 2,000 lm output & 120,000 candela and it might take three minutes to drop to 1,000 lm sustained with 60,000 candela. (Both of those lights have excellent UIs).

I've only read that slow charging issue with that one post. Mine charges normally like any other 5000mah 21700 would.
Best options are the Weltool T12 Plus and the Acebeam L16 2.0
