4090 laptop

Pros

• 4090 laptop gets me slightly higher benchmarks than 3090 ti
• Get a 4090 laptop and get it over with, especially since they're cheaper than the 5080 laptops, which the outperform btw.
• My 4090 laptop slaps and is a powerhouse . ... this laptop will probably last me around 7 years who knows . ... Less hassle with a laptop truly and less weight to move .
• I had a 4080 laptop and now a 4090 i can guarante its 15% at best.
• Smartest move right now is to get a 4090 laptop or even a 4080 laptop and save your money lol

Cons

• 4090 laptop doesn't outperform the 4080 desktop card, much less the 5080 desktop. The 4090 laptop is closer to the 4070 ti.
• if ur spending 3-4k for a 4090 laptop that performs like a 800 dollar rtx 4070 ti super.
• remember how the 4090 laptop has 31% more cuda cores than the 4080 but is only 10% faster? they are severely power limited
• The best 4090 laptop Time Spy scores are more akin to a 4070Ti Super Desktop card then they are anywhere close to an actual 4090 desktop.
• The 4090 laptop throughout it's near two year life never even made it to Steam's hardware survey until recently. It only made it's first appearance in December 2024.
