Pros

  • The 265s is definitely solid for growing into more activities - sounds like it gave you room to expand without needing to upgrade again
  • I just upgraded from a 55 to a 265s and I am very pleased with it. I primarily run but also use it for Pilates and yoga. I have found the race predictions to be much more accurate as well as the sleep tracking.
  • I have the 265s for 1,5 years now and I couldn't be happier. Started with 1-2 runs a week and now doing triathlons.
  • 265s has some basic navigation features that can help on hiking.
  • 265s is great

I have a 265S and still have and use my AW6 most of the time. I only use the Garmin for runs. It doesn’t sync well with my iPhone messages or Spotify. The only positives are longer battery life and immediate sync to Strava (though in the past month the sync is sketchy at best).

Go for the 255s or 265s, the size is smaller than the 245 and has more functionality too!
